Jay has been a tattoo artist for over thirty years and has achievied world-wide recognition for his award winning artwork, portraits and detailed reproductions.

He began his career in the Detroit area in 1992 before travelling nationally and abroad to learn, study and promote his artwork. Along the way, he worked with some of the best tattoo artists in the industry.
His tattooing and artwork has been featured in numerous tattoo magazines, news papers, books and television.

 

Jay lives in the Detroit area with his wife and cats, and enjoys drawing, reading and studying a variety of subjects. 

 

In 2015 Jay opened North Main Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery with longtime friend Aaron Ruby. North Main Tattoo Studio brings about a distinctive tattooing experience for tattoo collectors--one of solid technical ability, artistic creativity, and humble integrity.
